Rock, mostly stuff from the Christian market.
Favorite bands: Lifehouse, Switchfoot, Kutless, Creed, U2 and Third Day.
I'm actually in a band...sort of, we've had a few practices, but that's all, things should get rolling soon though. Yeah, you probably couldn't care less about my life but oh well. :rol:

I've named my musical interests on here hundreds of times. Rock and Metal are such great outlets, because they can incorporate all different styles of music in them. With bands like Stabbing Westward and Nine Inch Nails, you get the techno-industrial stuff. Alice In Chains and Mastodon have some country-folk sound. Pearl Jam has classic '70s style rock. A Perfect Circle has classical. Linkin Park has hip hip/rap/whatever... I could go on and on.

My musical tastes vary greatly. My favourite musician at the moment is Johnny Cash. I doubt there is even a handful of his songs that I don't like.

I can't stop listening to Johnny's cover of Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus". Have you heard his cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt"? It was his last song. The music video makes ya wanna tear up. :rol:
We just got Walk the Line on DVD. I think we're gonna watch it today.

My tastes are all over the place.
I like a lot of Ska from all walks of life, be it new wave Ska-Punk, to 1950's Trad Ska, with all the 2tone stuff in between.
I listen to a lot of Punk, bands like The Offspring, Bad Religion, Guttermouth, Bigwig etc
I'm not really into Metal, but a few bands like Static-X, Rammstein, Iron Maiden and early System of a Down catch my interest
And I love a bit of old school Hip Hop.
The rest of my music taste varies from acts like Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx and Bomfunk MCs, to stuff like Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra and Tom Petty.

Newest Figure: Batman TAS: Combat Belt Batman - Kenner
Newest Comic Book: Supreme Power 3 (vol 13-18) |

Wasn't it called "rap" back then? Ironically, the one rapper that I like quite a bit is Mike Shinoda from the metal band, Linkin Park. Not only does he have a unique voice rather than the 'generic black guy' frame, his rhymes are excellent. Mr. Hahn from the same band is also a great turn tablist with all the different effects he applies.
Not to go on a rap/hip-hop/whatever-cool-new-name-they-come-up-with-next bashing, but has anyone heard the song "It's Going Down?" The credits are given as "The X-Ecutioners featuring Mike Shinoda & Mr. Hahn," but the X-Ecutioners don't do a damn thing except jerk around some turn tables here and there in the back while Mike raps the entire song (with his own lyrics, I'm sure). Wayne Static from Static-X does rhythm guitar in the video also, but he's not credited. I'm not saying "hip-hoppers" are talentless; I just thought it was pretty silly when you know X-E hardly did anything.

My favorite music would have to be,
Eric Johnson (A very talented guitarist with freakishly long fingers)
The Dave Mathews Band
The Eagles
Steely Dan
Marvin Gaye
Boz Skaggs
Live
Stone Temple Pilots (Perhaps the greatest rock band that ever existed B) )
Linken Park
I also like most J-pop, you see once when I was young I heard the most beutiful Japanese song, and since then I love to here the japanese language sung; even if it's off key.
My favorite anime soundtracks are the Cowboy Bepop and the Gungrave soundtracks.
My favorite movie score is Batman Begins (Suprise, suprise).
And that just for starters.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!
