Just got back from seeing this tonight...excellent, excellent movie. I have not read the graphic novel, so I can't compare it on that front, but I thought the movie was very well done. Some of the concepts could be a bit scary, actually (not in a "boo" way, in a "consider the possibility" way).

Yeah thats on my to see list, but I found it cool how they played the background score of the car chase scene in Batman Begins for one of its trailers

Sounds like they basically did what Moore did in the original. The comic was written back in the mid to late 80's so things have shifted to a different direction. I am going to probably see it this week sometime.

I STILL haven't seen this. Things have just been too damn crazy. I've got the next three days off-- cashing in some of my vacation time so I can recharge the ol' pimp batteries-- so I hope I can see it then. I just got around to reading the graphic novel a few days ago. I didn't intend to read it all at once, but once I got into it, I just couldn't put it down. It was awesome. I don't see how some people say it's better than Watchmen, but it was really damn good. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate V a 9, but for Watchmen, I'd have to crank it up all the way to 11. Smile Still, it was a great read and I can't wait to see the movie.

I have a couple of the old '80s issues I got in a lot off eBay, never really flipped through 'em though. With the whole rebellion against government concept, it sounds like an interesting film.
