Superhero Hype! has confirmed that the new Superman Returns trailer will be enclosed in the can with Paramount's "Mission: Impossible III," opening next Friday, May 5th and will also be attached to all prints of WB's "Poseidon" the following week, on Friday, May 12th.
Warner Bros. has the trailer listed as 2 minutes and 28 seconds. Theaters will have access to it in digital format, so if you have the chance to catch "Mission: Impossible III" on a digital screen (it's going out to 135 digital theaters), then definitely do so!

Finally!
I was about to criticize WB's promotional skills on Superman.
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

Yea, they really have lacked for this movie, and it's supose to be promoted MORE than Begins.
The toys suck, there has been hardely no promotional anything.. I'm suprised if anyone even knows there is a new Superman movie cept us Fans!

My guess is something is wrong with Superman Returns and that?s why WB has stepped back. With Batman Begins I heard and read nothing but glowing things and when it was released it was the best Superhero/Batman film I ever saw.
With Superman Returns I?m hearing and seeing very little. Granted I?m not on the Superman boards like I was with BOF, but still even Batman Begins had great stuff appear in mainstream media ahead of the film.
Batman Begins had toys out well ahead of the film. Superman Returns has less out and what it does have on the pegs is lackluster at best. I don?t understand what the holdback is. If this is a rebirth of the Superman franchise it needs the same attention that Batman got.
Unless WB does not have the same amount of faith in it.
