Oh my God this game is going to rock. Gothamite's signature has new meaning. I just hope he get some unlockable costumes like in the Batman Begins game.
Oh, and here is another picture of Metallo.

Why thank you, thank you. *dance*

Me too, but I hope more effort is put into new suits in the Superman game. All they did for Batman is paint on some classic elements on the Begins suit. It felt a bit lame to me. If we do get unlockable suits, I want the neccessary changes made to the playable Superman character when he's wearing them, for example, a wider neckline, longer or shorter hair, bigger or smaller muscles.
Suits/Extra Characters I'd like to play in/as:
1. The Superman Lives Black Suit Design (or just the plain black suit from the comics)
2. The Superman Comics suit (bigger S, brighter colours, wider neckline)
3. The Golden Age Superman suit (streamlined S, dark blue, no boots)
4. Electric Blue/Red Superman
5. Anti-Kryptonite Superman (I know he's never had a suit like this in the comics, but there's been so many action figures with that name...)
6. Chris Reeve Superman (A Christopher Reeve 'face', a Chris Reeve 'S' logo, a shorter cape, a really light blue colour, extra powers )
7. 'Evil Superman' from Superman III (I really doubt I'll see this, though)
8. Nuclearman (We won't see this, but I just thought it would be funny to write it.)
In the shadows I saw my destiny...
I would seek justice...
I would have my revenge... |

I was fine with the suit variations they offered in Begins. It just would've been a lot better if you could pick one and jump into the game with them using a level select or something, rather than have to start right from the beginning again to use it.
All I hope to see is the standard version from the comics with the bright red, traditional S, and symbol on the cape. The Golden Age suit would also be nice.

No, I didn't think any real effort went into Begins' alternate suits. The utility belt was exactly the same for every suit except the colour was a bit different. I had the same problem with the cape latches that connected to Batman's neck. On the alternate suits, they just sat there with no true purpose other than to annoy me!
It also annoyed me that we didn't get a level select. I doubt we will in Superman either, because there isn't very many free-roaming (superhero or otherwise) games with a level select at the end. Took away greatly from games such as Spider-Man 2 and the GTA games.

Oh, another alternate costume I'd love to see is a simple Clark Kent outfit. I think it would look awesome flying around using superpowers as Clark every once in a while(no, it wouldn't give your identity away, it would just be for fun like the unlockable Peter Parker costume in various Spider-Man games).

THAT much unlockable costumes??? in batman begins, we were lucky to get those n it was only like 3. ur asking for wayyyy too much. ur gnna get dissapointed when the game comes, lol.
u know that this is a movie-game right? most movie-games suck. unless ur a crazed fan of the movie; which caused me to like the batman begins game, haha.
but seriously...wud they do that much research on the character and pull off 8 costumes? maybe if u were making it, but not everyone knows about these characters. and even if they do, its for money making purposes, not for gamers.

Just so you know the Spider-Man game for N64/PC had EIGHT unlockable costumes.
By the way all I'm asking for from Superman Returns is the traditional comics costume, the Golden Age costume, and Clark Kent.

I'm not 'asking' for anything, I just said it would be fun if some of those costumes were in the game. There's no way I expect the developers to make an 'Anti-Kryptonite' suit or a 'Nuclearman' suit!

Spider-Man 2 didn't suck. In fact, neither of the Spider-Man movie games sucked by any means, even if they both had flaws.

There are a ton of great movie-to-game games. Spider-Man 1&2, Batman Begins, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and most of all, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. These are great games even if you're not a big fan of the movie.

Batman begins wasnt that bad of a game. yes it had some negative points but there were also positives to it. I'm sure they'll build on what they need to for the next movie based game for batman. Planetman and Gothamite are also right when they say that Spidey 1-2 were great games cuz they were.

Batman Begins is only fun if you're a fan. Any of my friends that have played it said it was stupid and easy. I agree with them. I just think it's cool flying around as Batman and fighting bad guys from the shadows.

Batman Begins was a good start at a great Batman game. If they could take the concepts there and take away all of the hand holding, it would be much better. Some length would be good too. I wasn't that big on Spidey 1, but I loved Spidey 2. That is the game that I go back and play over and over, and I usually don't touch a game after I have beaten it, but the open endedness just makes replay great.
I have some high hopes for this Superman game. The visuals look great, but here's hoping that the gameplay is just as good.

That's an interesting way of looking at it. It definitely is a step in the right direction in terms of making a great Batman game.

I agree.

Fingers crossed! I hope the developers don't feel like they have to make a completely original game, and don't feel that they can borrow things from games like Spider-Man 2 and True Crime. Trying to make a game wholly original can often lead to its downfall.

the graphics look REAL good.
im probably gnna fall in love with this game for like a month and beat it 500 times(exaggerating). and then after that, ill get bored of it and do something else. i do that with all of my games. and i still buy them anyways. i've wasted so much money on games, haha.
yeah anyways....i really wanna fly around a city. it was fun swinging in spiderman, but flying must be fricking awesome. i was kinda mad that they made glyding more realistic in the game, and fake in the movie. i wanted to fly!!! lol. what batman did in batman begins was flying...that was not glyding, lol.

i want to see some real in game graphics. those were just some polished cg mixed with 3d. they do that in alot of games like mortal kombat shaolin monks. if you guys think about it the graphics for this game are probably not going to be so great. it says the game will have over 9000 buildings and plus aaaaaaalll those moves supermans going to get means there will be less space for graphics. remember spider-man 2? someone on this board mentioned(was it you gothamite? im not sure) how spider-man looked (graphically) decent but that he was too skinny and that besides spider-man all the people along with thugs looked really bad. which i agree with. with all this game is offering us in terms of gameplay im not saying decent-mediocre graphics would make me hate it, id still buy it and love it, just saying the graphics might not look so hot. i bought the warriors because the gameplay was amazing but the graphics were mediocre due to the fact that they HAD to dumb them down in order to create the giant 20 on 20 people gang fights they did. looking at begins too, really good graphics but bad gameplay, no variety on the combat, dumb enemies, simplistic levels with not much thought.

graphically it (S2) wasnt that bad, while it did have some rough spots, it was always fun to run around the city doing whatever the hell you want AND AS SPIDERMAN I MEAN COME ON!!!!!! it doesnt get much better. for begins i would say that I completely disagree. The AI wasnt that bad and the levels werent too simple and not too complicated (depends on difficulty settings). While they could have been harder it was fine as it is.
