Did anyone notice how Kevin Conroy didn't have two separate voices for Batman and Bruce Wayne in TNBA, the way he did in TAS? In TAS, Bruce had a calm, friendly voice whereas Batman had a dark, hoarse voice. In TNBA (and any of Conroy's Batman voice appearances later) Batman and Bruce were the exact same!

im pretty sure it was different in TNBA. maybe when bruce was in the cave, it was the batman voice. but like when hes at a party, he has that friendly voice.

Nope. I distinctly remember a Scarface episode where Bruce was telling an elderly employee that he could work in WayneTech as long as he wanted, and I remember him saying it in a dull, hoarse, Batman voice. Just watch mystery of the Batwoman. Whenever Bruce is talking to What'sherface Ducaine, he always talks to her in his Batman voice.

lol. kevin got tired of changing his voice. or maybe it was a sign that he wanted to be a full time batman. hmm.. oh well... i still like TNBA though. BTAS was better, but yeaa...TNBA was still kool.

I think you could be right about his voice not really changing on TNBA. I could tell the distinction watching BTAS on Boomerang, but as far as my memory goes, there wasn't much in TNBA. Oh well, still a great series.

I think BTAS was truly inspired, and appealed to everyone, whereas TNBA was more or less a cash-in on B&R (what with Batgirl appearing with alarming regularity) and was more aimed at kids. Watch Season's Greetings and you'll see a real kiddy episode that you'd never get with BTAS.

with BTAS, there was an episode where batman was in a kid's basement. i think that was torwards kids....like...kids wud imagine what it wud be like if batman was in their basement. lol.

and not ALL of TNBA was kiddy. i mean, the show wasnt as kiddy as TT, and TT isnt even that kiddy IMO. TNBA was awesome!!! because of that series, nightwing became more popular. atleast in my age group.

I recently got all of the TNBA eps...and your right! Bats/Bruce's voice is that same. It's just maybe a smidge deeper as Bats but not much of a change. Maybe by that time Bruce was just sick of it and figured..noone's noticed yet!

And that show by no means is kiddie. How kiddie can a show be with Joker throwing Harley off a roof and you see her land..just cause she was going to kill Batman...that's not very kiddie...plus it's got blood in it and lots of guns. No not kiddie at all.

TNBA was my favorite series, but I also enjoyed lots of the episodes from TAS. Nightwing was a nice addition too.

"I went around the world, searched in all the shadows. And there is something out there in the darkness, something terrifying, something that will not stop until it gets revenge... Me"
