Anthony Bressi was a GOTHAM CiTY mobster who ran a large protection rack et wh en Batman first began his war on crime. Bressi continued to conduct his illegal business despite th e proliferation of costumed crime fighters. He refused KILLER MOTH 'S offer of protection from the "capes" and continued to oppose Batman, BATGIRL, and the HUNTRESS through the years. "Tough Tony" Bressi lived in a mansion in Gotham's Somerset neighborhood until it was destroyed by Killer Moth and FIREFLY in a revenge scheme complicated by Batgirl and BLACK CANARY. He was not seen after that incident.
