PLOT:
Knowing that her David Cain will be in Platinum Flats to assassinate Barbara Gordon, Cassandra decides to head there. It's there that she plans to make her final stand and finish her secret mission to kill her father. But in order to get to California in time, Cass decides to steal the Bat-Wing from the Bat-Cave. Nightwing tries to stop her but she evades him and continues on her flight.

Finally tired of making excuses for her behavior, Batman and Robin set out after Batgirl. Since she clearly did not file a flight plan of any kind before she took off, the dynamic duo are forced to follow the Bat-Wing's beacon signals. Managing to outmaneuver the Dark Knight in the sky, Batgirl forces the two into a crash landing outside of Las Vegas. Batman takes off on a 4-Wheeler tracing the Bat-Wing's signal but when he arrives at its location he finds the Wing empty with Cass nowhere to be found.

While Batman and Robin make their way towards Vegas to try and pick back up Batgirl's trail, Cass has already taken a bus out of town towards Platinum Flats. Once there she canvasses the Clocktower Systems building and decides that Cain needs to make his hit from a nearby rooftop.

Before she can get there however she runs into Marque. She tells Marque of their blood relation but it isn't enough to deter the psychopath from attempting to stab Cassandra. Cass ends up slicing Marque's Achilles tendon and leaving her behind in a nearby alley, solidifying herself as an enemy in the eyes of her sister. Batgirl makes it to the roof and confronts David Cain as he lines up his shot.
