PLOT:
Gog and the Justice Society continue to battle in New York but eventually Gog senses that he is on the losing end of the fight and teleports himself back to his temple in the African jungle.

While the injured are being attended to back inside the building, Sandman communes with the Earth and discovers Gog's new location. He also realizes that the Gog they battled is not the real Gog but rather his He informs the others and soon enough they are on their way to Africa.

Upon arriving, Sandman attempts to find out what exactly Gog wants. New Earth's Gog (William Matthews) responds that Gog only wants to help and that he is the only hope. But something about that displeases the real Gog and the face encased in the cave's wall opens its mouth and shoots a green wave of energy evaporating the blaspheming Matthews. Suddenly the ground begins to shake and the real Gog frees himself from the rock.

Standing several stories tall, Gog looks down upon the Justice Society and tells them "I come in peace."
