PLOT:
The JSA follows Gog as he heads into a war-torn village under attack by a militia but some are finding themselves much less able to help after Gog's miracles. Starman's judgment is altered now that his sanity has returned and Dr. Mid-Nite's vision may have been restored but at the cost of his surgical prowess. If that wasn't enough to cause some members to distrust Gog's efforts, when the attacks continue to worsen, Gog decides to turn the militants into trees. Although he deems this a much more suitable form of life for the violent killers, the Society isn't too sure about his methods.

Calling upon his experience as a recent war veteran, David Reid rushes into the fray but is stopped short by a land missile. The Society rushes to the aid of their fallen comrade but it's too late - David Reid is dead.

Gog once again uses his powers to "fix" the situation by resurrecting David but the young man returns changed. Now bearing the name and armamentarium of Magog - something that does not seem to please Earth-22 Superman at all.

Exiled on Earth-2, Power Girl continues to run for her life from what she initially thought were her friends. Seeking answers, she tracks down the one man familiar enough with parallel universes to potentially be able to get her home - Professor Michael Holt.
