PLOT:
His schizophrenia vanquished by Gog, Starman is remembering exactly what his mission is here in the 21st century. But as he explains to Mr. Terrific, without the crutch of insanity, he may not be able (or willing) to go through what he must go through in order to accomplish his mission. Elsewhere in the JSA headquarters it seems as though all eyes are on Magog who swears that his recent transformation is for the better. Earth-22 Superman tries to talk some sense into the former David Reid (now only responding to the name Magog while in costume) but the team is called away by Jay Garrick who alerts them to a situation developing back in the Congo.

Magog transports the rest of the team to the Congo where a distrustful Green Lantern is trying to get Gog to confess his true intentions. Some members of the team however (including Hawkman, Damage and Amazing Man) want to believe in Gog's plans for world peace. The argument quickly gets heated and the arrival of the rest of the team doesn't solve matters as the Justice Society becomes divided into two factions - one side agreeing with Gog and the other not agreeing with him.

Green Lantern fears that if they continue on Gog's course they will end up back in Kahndaq - home of Black Adam, the man who caused World War 3. But little do they know that at that very moment Black Adam is flying through the skies headed west. He is following the appearance of the flowers of Isis. Black Adam believes that Isis has returned and is sending him a message.

When Citizen Steele and Amazing Man go to pull Hawkman and Flash apart, the others view it as a move on the part of the pro-Gog side and things quickly begin to escalate. Before things can get too violent however, Magog decides that he cannot allow anyone to stand in Gog's way so he uses his powers to teleport the dissenters back to the Justice Society Headquarters.

Superman, having crash landed upon arrival through a large globe finds himself both figuratively and literally in the an Earth smashed in two and fears that a war may be brewing as it had come to pass on his home Earth.

On Earth-2, Power Girl has been talking to that Earth's Michael Holt about getting her back to her true home on New Earth. The two somehow manage to make contact with Starman who, having recently returned with the others from the Congo is standing in the JSA library when his star suit begins to emit a bright ball of light. Using Starman's suit, Earth-2's Holt is able to open up another black hole between Earths and send Power Girl back through. Unfortunately at the same time they are doing this, the Earth-2 Justice Society arrives and follows her through back to New Earth!
