PLOT:
The Justice Society Infinity of Earth-2 confront Power Girl and demand once more to know exactly what she did with their Superman. Unwilling to accept her claims that Earth-2 Superman had died, the Justice Society Infinity abduct Power Girl and take her back with them through the wormhole to Earth-2. During this interaction, Alan Scott finds himself face to face with that Earth's version of his deceased daughter Jade. When the JSI retreats through the wormhole, Alan follows them and Mr. Terrific, Stargirl and Flash go after him. The gateway crashes shut and Starman, having kept the hole open all this time is swept up in its wake. The four JSA members crash land back in Professor Holt's office on Earth-2 but Power Girl and the JSI are nowhere to be found.

Acclimating themselves to this new parallel Earth, Professor Holt explains to the four teammates how using the cosmic engine (a miniature version of the cosmic treadmill), he was able to zero in on Starman's uniform and open up the portal to New Earth. While Alan Scott is pondering what differences between the two Earths would result in his daughter still being alive, his teammate, Mr. Terrific is finding himself face to face with a loved one long since lost - his wife, Paula.

Elsewhere, Robin, Huntress have finished helping their Power Girl strap her doppelganger down to a table in the Bat-Cave. Keeping her weak by using a hunk of Earth-2 Kryptonite, the JSI members continue to interrogate Karen about Earth-2 Superman's disappearance. Karen is able to break free temporarily but the JSI, waiting in the wings this whole time, come out of hiding and attack her. Before a mini-war can break out, Starman and the other JSA members come rushing to her defense. Starman explains how his suit, designed by three Braniac-5's, is actually a complete map of the new Multiverse. He continues saying that when Alexander Luthor's tower was destroyed during Infinite Crisis, the multiverse expanded creating another version of Earth-2 complete with its own Power Girl and Superman. While this unfortunately means that JSA Power Girl's original universe remains non-existent, New Earth-2's Superman is more than likely still alive and well somewhere. The situation settled, Starman opens up another black hole using his suit and transports the JSA and Power Girl to her "real" home on New Earth.

While the situation with the JSI may be resolved, the Justice Society still has Gog to contend with. While Mr. Terrific returns to his room to look at a photo of his late wife, Alan interrupts him. He asks if, despite his disbelief in gods, Mr. Terrific believes that perhaps Gog could resurrect their loved ones as he did with David Reid (Magog). Will the ever-doubtful Green Lantern and the atheist Mr. Terrific return to the Congo to make a request of the benevolent god of the Third-World?
