Here's an idea.. from all the reports.. they say he's "wearing a mask." What if, during the first part of the movie, he's just wearing a mask, then he falls into the acid and becomes a real joker? I can see scaring and stuff after that.

Those heads are masks for the clown goons (at least I`m willing to bet they are!). Aside from the possibility of him wearing a mask and no make up under it in regards to the acid incendent maybe it could also be a flashback as to something he did before he got scarred and became the joker...and maybe we just dont see or know how it happend...at least I`d prefer that lol...In any case the clearest thing is the green hair!!! On BOF I read about one of Jetts sources who said he was able to get lucky enough to notice a whole scene being filmed of what it looked to be a bank robery...now weather u all want to believe that source or not (which I suggest go read for yourself if u havent) I have a lot of opinions of my own about it but I`m going to wait until someone else brings it up again

I'm guessing he's "The Joker" long before he gets scarred (He had left the Joker card as a calling card in Begins). Then he goes on to be scarred. Basically, I think they're replacing the "Red Hood" persona with the the Joker.
As for the Ledger photo... It looks like the light is shining off his normal hair to make it look green; while it's really just brown. I could be wrong, though.
BOF has already reported that The Joker will have Grey skin. And Ledger himself has mentioned make-up. So in no way is Joker going to wear a "Joker mask" instead of being scarred.
P.S. Many people have misinterpreted Ledgers metaphoric use of the phrase "Wearing a mask", so it's ironic that he is indeed wearing a clown mask for part of the film!

Eye witnessess report seeing Heath wearing a mask... And as he isn't wearing make-up, it's safe to say he's wearing a mask.
As anxious as I am to see Heath in make-up... I'm more anxious to hear him speak as Joker. He's got a very pronounced Austrailian accent; and I've yet to see him in a movie where he was able to entirly drop it for an Amercian one; so I'm wondering exactly what they're doing with his voice.

Whoa! Whoa! We've been so focused on the whole bank robbery thing we forgot to look at an important set piece!
Potential Spoilers
They have a bloody zipline leading to the "Bank"! Early reports said it might be used for Joker's enterance; but he's coming in from the car. So who uses it? Anyone rembemer how they used ziplines in Begins?
That's right... Batman's glider. The Dark Knight himself might be in Chicago as we speak! Bale is probably looking at a completed version of the batsuit right this instant!

Yea if that picture from Aint it Cool is real I`m guessing thats just a sample, make up test, prototype or whatever...If he looks just like that though I have to say I like it but I`m not really surprised...Only cuz I`ve already seen 2 or 3 manips already that looked almost exactly like that

He is directing a film called The Merry Gentlemen.
I'm sure he will stop by TDK set. but it is VERY unlikely he'll have a cameo.
